The natural setting surrounding West Thompson Lake is enjoyed year-round. Pleasing views from the dam offer sightseers and photographers a panoramic view of the area. Hikers, picnickers and other visitors will discover the biodiversity of nature as they explore our Recreational areas

All field events are now open to entry through Entry Express. The hunt tests and field trial are accessible through those links on the left side of the home page. To access the Singles( unsteady or steady) and the WC/WCX, one needs to type "Specialty" in to the search box on the left side of the home page. All four events ( Field trial, Hunt Test, WC/WCX and SS/USS) also show up under the "Specialty" search.

Other points of Information:
1. For the Steady Singles Championship the dog must deliver to hand and be steady on line.
2. For the Unsteady Singles the dog may be held on line with a lead and the dog does not have to deliver to hand but to the general area of the handler. That area will be determined by the judges.
3. Rules for the Hunting Retriever Tests may be obtained from the AKC.
4. Rules for the WC/WCX Tests will be included in the Hospitality Booklet.
5. Arrangements have been made for a photographer to be on the grounds for the field events, so you will be able to capture that "Special" moment.
6. At this point in time the field committee is considering breaking the Unsteady Singles into two sections, look for further information in this Newsletter. Information will also be printed and sent with the premiums for the Specialty Field Events.
